Picscam Review CSI:NY 6x10
This may suck due to the fact that a cold has eaten my brain. Well, a cold and a plot bunny about a x-over between CSI:NY and NCIS with Danny being protective over Tim, realising that Tony is actually crushing on Tim and that’s why he’s so mean, finding Tim a BFF in Adam, Danny accidentally sleeping with Tim, Tim helping Danny get over the fact Lindsay abused him and Mac slept with Lindsay and Tim realising Mac only slept with Lindsay as a misguided attempt to get closer to Danny. Tim belongs in NCIS and Danny belongs in the NYPD, but it doesn’t mean they can’t have friends in other places too ;-)
Mostly, it’s the cold that has placed my brain in a mind-numbing vice... but it made me strangely verbose. 1600 words of rambling review and 16 screencaps.

Rating: Heavy R/Lite NC-17 for, like, one scene of a sexual nature and some swearwords and some angst and this was supposed to be hurt-comfort *sigh*
Summary: Danny has burnt himself out and it takes its toll on the entire team, especially on Danny’s boss and lover, Mac.
Wordcount: 4600ish.
Author’s Note: This one is for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) sexycazzy who requested “Mac taking care of Danny after Danny has been through a really bad accident or something like that.” Every time I tried to make him get into a motorcycle accident or be tortured or something inflicted by another human being I got distracted by back-story and the synopsis would turn out to be 800 words! That said... this fic is about 4600 words. *facepalm*

Eventually I am planning to review every single CSI:LV and CSI:NY episode ever but recently my harddrive died a death so I lost all CSI:LV :-( WAH! Spoilers: I’m actually not sure what parts I took from canon and what parts I just made up. I want an episode where Mac recruits everybody, it would make fanfic SO much easier.

I kinda want to write fic about that... but er... *stops ranting*

This is short and more like a prequel but there'll be plenty of Danny and Lucy living with Mac once I write my domestically-abused!Danny verse so I couldn't quite write that yet or they might merge and make my head explode :-( I’m sorry for the angst but Danny is rather broken up over Lindsay’s death (I find broken!Danny scarily easy to write). Don’t worry, there is a little bit of hope for him though.
